Dancing French Mother-in-laws.
Cheese!
Free-flowing liquor.
Foie Gras.
Eatin' sugary pastries, cheese, and foie gras, followed by....
...more free-flowing liquor.
And of course...the glorious singing.
Yeah, I crossed over to the dark side this year, too--chapon stuffed with foie gras. But it was sooooooo completely worth it. My fave resto, the guy makes his own, and it is deeeeeeelish.
ReplyDeleteI love Foie Gras as well. However, it took me a few years as I had some mediocre foie gras the first 2 times I tried it, and that put me off for quite a while.
ReplyDeleteI find that chutney also goes very well with it. My wife uses Chinese chutney as she finds the sweet-sour taste nicely offsets the richness of the foie gras.
