Love seeker- Speak not of warmth. It may send me over the edge.
Megan- Great minds think alike, however clearly my mind has never been great enough to figure out how to end up living in a warmer climate.
Justin- This is nothing! I took this photo in Strasbourg on Saturday---you should have seen the white out conditions we arrived in! I couldn't see where I was walking and the snow felt like tiny glass pieces being blown into my face at 50 km/h.
We had snow on Sunday here also. And like you, I hate it. I am a warm weather girl through and through. Fortunately, it wasn't cold enough and the snow had melted by Monday morning. I still, however, am cold.
Thanks. You reminded me why I keep saying no about visiting family and friends in Metz and Nancy. Silly me, I was wavering. What the hell was I thinking.
haha, great piccy. i am a bit strange because i loathe winter - rainy, dark, cold, depressing - what's there to love? - but LOVE snow. i like to eat it too - the pure fresh falls...yum. i scrape ice from my freezer and eat that too. which is one reason i have not bought a frost free freezer.
Dedene- I make no promises, but I’ll do the best I can.
Leah---The funniest part being I wasn’t even _trying_ to do the crazy eyes.
Papadesdeux- Snow or no snow you should come to Metz to have cocktails with me.
Sprite--- Did you know that eating ice is a symptom of anemia? (Ask my broken molar.)Have your iron levels checked. Seriously. Also---snow collects all the chemical pollutants in the air as it falls. So when you eat it, it’s like eating frozen smog. Stick to the freezer scraping!
frozen smog. what an evocative statement. it has put me off eating snow for life... you make an interesting point about anaemia but weirdly i have enjoyed eating ice since i was a kid. however what's odd right now is i AM mildly anaemic at the moment - being 8.5 months pregnant and all. of course due to extensive research - y'know, the kind that saves the government (and NHS) cash, they do not treat the anaemia unless it falls to a certain value. I take supplements but... i'll stick to scraping the freezer :=D

girl, you are so crazy. i'm not going to upset you by telling you how warm it has been in the bay area. :) keep warm!
I hate snow. That's why I'm glad we live in Provence. It hasn't fully snowed since I have lived here (except for some flurries that didn't stick).
HAHA, I love it! Well not the snow, just the expression... we had snow here, but WAY less than that.
Girl! You are CRAAAAAZY! LOL

I was NOT happy.
The only good thing about winter is that I see that I am not the only one to go mental now.
Keep me laughing for the next 6 months, pleeeze!
So, I actually like snow, but this photo cracked me up, espec the close up with the crazy eyes!
