I know I'm on this diet...
...and I'm not supposed to have even one ounce of alcohol, but I do believe that some sort of champagne celebration is in order.
Right?
I figure I can have one or two "coups" since I know in my heart that at this very moment my dear Granny Myrtle is somewhere in heaven gettin' her drink on with Rosa Parks.
Right?
Update: Instead of champagne I had Coke Zero. Also, Granny Myrtle and Rosa are now doing the electric slide to Kool & The Gang's "Celebration".

This most certainly calls for spirits. I'm going to go as far as saying this occasion requires cake as well.
I'm telling my diet to kick rocks today too.
How funny... my husband put a bottle o' sparkling wine in the fridge for tonight even tho' we are trying for a no alcohol during the week gig.
But seriously - today is a day of CELEBRATION!!!
I LOVE Obama... I know it sounds totally corny but my heart is full of JOY when I see him and listen to him talk...

my president is black....!!!!
whooohoo!!!
The ceremony was more detailed to me than any inauguration I can recall in my life. It all seemed so new and so freakin' fabulous. The speeches were so memorable it is still feeling so surreal. It almost felt like I was watching an extra-long episode of 24
The electric slide is the only line dance I know!! Cheers! Congrats and I'll have an extra glass o' bubbly for you, your Mom and your Grandma!!!!
Incorrect. YOUR GRANNY DIDN'T DRINK. Don't go there.
ABW- In my version of heaven there is no water, only champagne.
*twirling around*
LMAO!!! Ok.. I can get down with that!
you are too much! now i can't get the image out of my head of all my folks who have 'gone on to their just reward' getting their electric slide on and nipping on a bit of moonshine one of those north carolina uncles smuggled through the pearly gates with him....
