Madame K has left the building.
Happy New Year and all that, but I just can’t bring myself out of my winter coma long enough to write stuff. All I really feel like doing as of late is napping, playing my guitar and baking chocolate cakes and sometimes watching James Bond movies on Blu-Ray. Blame it on the winter and OH, did I mention I came down with a killer head-cold?
WhingeWhingeWhinge much?
I’m originally from Iowa, so I should be able to handle this better, but lord almighty if snow doesn’t put me in a rightfully evil disposition. So, back to baking and napping it is. With any luck I will be out of hibernation before April showers arrive.
In the meantime I leave you with this delightful paper animation with music that seems somehow wonderfully appropriate for this post.

Do you know who sings this bluesy song and are you trying to learn it on your guitar? I like the song.
I am a new reader to your blog. I hope that you feel better soon! I love your wit and charm!
Great blog!... Dying to find out how you ended up over here..(there).. read through several of your posts...lmao.
How about some pictures of the Barbie Dream House to fill in the gaps?
Welcome Back!
Happy New Year to you and French Boy. Did you hear the New Orleans Saints won the Super Bowl? We had a blow out parade. The Super Bowl was just before Mardi Gras and Yes, more parades and parties.
I hope you are feeling better.
Winter is for hibernating. All mammals do it in some form, but we're programed to be on the go all the time. Take time to re-connect with your most natural self and stay in when its cold. We all need to do it!
