Looks awesome! I'm trying to convince my boyfriend we should go there sometime, especially since there's a new Easyjet route to Heraklion from Geneva. Is that the city where you were?
Jennie- Yes. Go. Immediately if possible. Or go next year before high season when all the prices double. You can fly into Iraklion, but there is also another airport on the other end of the island. The Amirandes is actually in Gouves, which is a 15 taxi ride away. Hotels can be quite reasonable---check out a few on trip advisor. GO!
