I understand your struggle. I've lost some weight (some of which was holiday weight, so not quite as much as I'd hoped by now) but I realize that it is definitely a "one-day-at-a-time" thing. Sometimes you just gotta live, and eat, in the moment. You can always begin the diet again tomorrow...
OMG! You are too funny! I am in the same boat after having the triplets! So I just went and had some nip/tuck done! I know I am weak! Oh yeah, Oprah said to stop calling it a "diet" and call it a "life change"...but look how well that has worked for her. Just a suggestion. LOL! Good luck! BTW...I stil have some questions to ask and I will email u soon.
You're in France. Doesn't skinny happen by virtue of being there? No? Bummer. I was all set to move. Since living in Texas isn't helping (tho you'd think it would given the culinary options)...
I love a picturesque food presentation. This cuisine looks like it would make you sing/moan à la Al Green. Is that something like hog's head cheese in pic "foodie 014?"

Yep, home-made that morning by French Mother-in-Law. *deep sigh*
Man... I'm DROOLING all over my keyboard! seriously. I think I need to call the IT dept to replace it...
Well, rice is a diet food right?

Enjoy life :)
Most of that looks pretty healthy actually!
If everything old is new again then I feel certain Peter Paul Rubens' idea of beauty will resurface once more! I'm holding out for that.
I thought they might have been! You are so lucky to have your MIL. :-)

I wish my MIL was French and could make those delicious bugnes!

I gave up on dieting. I eat what I fancy but I try to do it in moderation. And (surprise) I'm losing weight!
