"No Thanks. Keep the BJ."
Yesterday afternoon I met up with my buddy Aaron for coffee….which turned into cocktails…as usual. Of course as soon as I arrived at the bar I randomly realized that it was the 3rd Thursday in November.
So after Aaron and I had warmed up our palettes with a couple glasses of Rose, the bartender asked us if we’d like to try the BJ Newvo. Aaron was a bit hesitant, but I agreed to give it a try if for no other reason than tradition and the fact that after 2 glasses of wine I’ll pretty much try damn near anything.
Long story short--- I hated the BJ Newvo. I will never become one of those people who bashes a bottle of BJ, but I gotta tell ya, the glass I had last night was crazy bitter and very flat tasting.
In technical wine tasting terms: It was yucky.

Coffee turns into cocktails!!!! Love it!
That happens to me alot in my life.
Is it bad that though I knew what this post was about, when I saw "BJ" I had another thought?
Cherise- Great minds think alike.
i didn't realise the male and female species could be platonic friends, spend plenty of time together without any expectations from either party?
it's never happened to me. i'm married and have absolutely no male friends. not even gay ones.
i wonder if my brother count's? we meet up for dinner now and then.
no idea what a bj newvo is but that is what google if for.
Sprite- You have no male friends? I hear they have good therapists for that, so good luck.
Sidenote: Also, male and female humans are of the same species.
hit me up with the numbers of good therapists. as long as they don't sit there and try to listen "intelligently" i am willing to give it a go. who knows? it might even be of some benefit. to me, that is.
yeah males and females belong to the homo sapiens group. except I belong to another group. when i find a name for it i'll let on.
seriously though in the spirit of self-analysis, i realise i never "learned" to view men as "just men" or friends. each and every man was either a potential bf or more. if i was not attracted to him or he was off limits then a summary dismissal was the name of the game. over time i could not relate to a man on any level outside of flirting. but oddly enough i rarely flirt with my own husband.
end result - no male friends. not even gay ones. *sigh*
i have a funny feeling i could keep a therapist in business for a while.
I love your blog...I haven't visited in a while, but now it's bookmarked so I'll be back. You've inspired me to renew my lifelong dream of living in France, finally learning how to speak French fluently and snagging a cute Frenchie to go with the whole dream life package. Thanks for sharing your life and great pix!
Madame, merci pour le blog. C'est toujours bon.
Hints of... strawberry???
Dear Santy Claus: Please give Madame K good blogging material for Christmas. We miss her horribly. My co-workers wonder why I keep rocking back and forth, drooling, picking imaginary spiders from my skin and mumbling about BJ's....
